Some patients may have been told in the past that they don't have enough bone for successful dental implants. At our practice, we use the most current technology and procedures such as sinus lifts and ridge augmentation (also known as socket preservation) to help correct this problem by naturally and predictably replacing lost bone and gum tissue.
A ridge augmentation procedure is accomplished by placing bone graft material in the tooth socket. It is often done immediately after the tooth is removed.
Once the socket has healed the jawbone is ready for dental implant placement.
The staff was very friendly and kind. I had a gum graft with mild sedation. The procedure went well. I had little discomfort afterwards with only Tylenol for pain management.
