Ridge Augmentation / Socket Preservation

Some patients may have been told in the past that they don't have enough bone for successful dental implants. At our practice, we use the most current technology and procedures such as sinus lifts and ridge augmentation (also known as socket preservation) to help correct this problem by naturally and predictably replacing lost bone and gum tissue.

A ridge augmentation procedure is accomplished by placing bone graft material in the tooth socket. It is often done immediately after the tooth is removed.

Once the socket has healed the jawbone is ready for dental implant placement

As something as serious as going to a periodontist is, I have always had a great and comfortable experience with this office! What I feel is the most important aspect is that if you ask questions about your care, it is answered in a respectful and supportive way!
